There is a tremendous need for affordable housing in Kentucky and across the Nation. In Kentucky alone, there are roughly 120,000 households that are severely burdened by paying more than 50% of their income on housing costs. That number is over 18 million across the U.S. Beargrass Development’s mission covers all real estate development but has a primary focus on affordable housing. The demand for our expertise is dire and the supply is extremely inadequate, therefore one of our primary objectives is to address this critical need by increasing the supply and ensuring long-term affordability.
